About the Institute
The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) is the institute which provides the training to the people who are related to the Forest areas and Forest area related industries. The institute was approved by Indian government and was established in 1974. The institute is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The main aim of the institute is to improve the abilities of Forest management departments and to develop the forest business management. Institute offers two programs in the field of Forest Management first is Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and second is PDGFM.
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctorate level programme which is design to develop the new knowledge in the area of Natural Resource Management and to research.
Eligibility
To appear for this course candidates needs Master Degree after pursuing 10+2+3 teaching scheme in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in the mater degree. The revenant disciplines are should be decided by the IIFM. For the candidates how has done PDGFM and were graduates from IIFM require the B+ and maximum 4.33 scales.
Process of Admission
The selection process of candidates has the two stages, Screening test and Group Discussion & Personal Interview. In the screening test candidates will require to give CAT or GMAT. Shortlisted candidates from stage one is called for the second test which will conducted in the Institute.
Qualifying Criteria
The maximum age limit for the candidate is 45 years, above this limit candidates are not eligible for the admission. Candidate must have to clear the Group discussion and Personal interview with good ethics.
