It’s measured to be alleged Open University among the open learning institutions of the country. Karnataka State Open University is a renowned University of DEC (Distance Education Council) New Delhi. It’s also a regular member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London, UK, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi, and Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) Beijing, China.
Karnataka State Open University is located at North–Western end of Manasagangotri campus, Mysore which is around 5 km away from the city centre.

How to Apply
• Use the application form of current year only. Application form numbered in earlier years will not be accepted.
• Fill the application form properly after reading prospectus instructions printed. Remember that imperfect applications will be discarded without any correspondence.
• Choose the entrance test centre cautiously because once chosen, it won’t be changed.
• All fees must be paid in one payment.
• Candidate has to send filled application form with "Attested Xerox copies" of subsequent documents. Though candidates should generate original mark sheets on demand.
