Gauhati University MBA Admission Gauhati University was established in 1948, this is the very first University of the North East India. The University locates at the western side of the Gauhati city which is at Assam, India. University has the four stars rating from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). University has affliction with around 180 collages in all over Assam. The campus of University is located on the bank of Brahmaputra River. University has the affliction of University Grant Commission. Gauhati University offers many courses in different faculties. The courses of University are available on full time mode and distance education mode.
Gauhati University also offers MBA programme. The duration of the MBA programme is two years and this is full time education programme.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA:
To get the admission in MBA programme candidate must have to complete bachelor’s degree or graduation in any faculty from the any recognized University in India. The minimum requirement of marks is 60%. Final year candidates can also apply to the admission procedure. Relaxations in the minimum require mark is provided as per the rules and regulation of the University to the candidates who belongs from the reserved category.
Selection Procedure:
The admissions for the MBA programme are carried out in the two simple stages. In the first test written test is conducted in which the objective type questions are asked. The candidates who pass the entrance examination are calls out for the second stage of admission which consist of the GD and Personal Interview.

For the admission in the University candidate have to fill the admission form which is available at the University office or can be download from the website of the University. This application form must be submitted in the University before due date, late forms will not accepted at any condition.
