Assam Institute of Management (AIM) PGDBM AdmissionAIM is formed in 1988 by the state government of Assam and located at Guwahati, Assam. It is an autonomous management institute. Assam institute of management offers PGDBM courses from 1994. The main vision of institute is to become a center of excellence by training, research, consultancy, networking and teaching. The programme is designed by an academic council formed by the government of Assam and the programme is approved by All Indian council for technical education. The AIM PGDBM programme follows the same pattern adopted by the Indian Institutes of Management. The duration of this programme is two years.
Eligibility for PGDBM Admission:
Candidate should complete graduation from any recognizedexcept fine arts university with minimum 50 per cent marks. For ST, SC candidate 45 per cent. Student who waiting for final year result will also apply for admission.
Admission procedure:
The PGDBM admission is done in two steps first step is fill the online ATMA admission form and second step is Candidate should collect application form from AIM office during official hour or download the application form from their official website submit the form before the last date and pays the fees by demand draft in favour AIM payable at Guwahati should be submit at AIM office.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is done in three steps Common entrance test, Group discussion and personal interview. This examination is conducted directorate of technical education. Student who has appeared for ATMA, CAT, and XAT can also eligible. 20 per cent seats are reserved under management seat. Form the student are called for second round and personal interview.
