About the Institute
Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) is situated in the core of the city of Pune. SCDL is a well-known distance learning institute, approved by Govt. of India through Distance Education Council. Distance Education Council has been established by Govt. of India to give permission to distance learning institutions. DEC watchfully evaluates programs presented by Distance Learning institutions to make sure that reputable principles about significant materials, electronics and print, are sustained. SCDL attaches students from different occupations, nations, age groups and regions in “World Campus” in Open and Distance Learning mode.

SCDL has its main campus in Pune with 2 additional campuses, Bangalore and Nasik respectively. These SCDL centre occupy easy entry to different SCDL facilities. Today, more than 2 00,000 students from more than 42 different countries are studying different SCDL programs.

Overview
PGDIT Program is intended for students looking to specialize in Information Technology. Though the key focus is on IT connected subjects, students will also find out fundamental principles of management such as planning, organizing, controlling and decision making. Other main key topics will be Financial Management, HR, Management Accounting and Marketing. Duration of PGDIT program is 2 years and registration is valid for 4 years.

Application form and Prospectus are obtainable at any SCDL office or some selected branches of AXIS Bank by paying Rs.900/- or by giving Demand Draft favoring “The Director, SCDL”, payable at Pune.
