JNU MBA Admission
Jawaharlal Nehru University is also calls as JNU. JNU is located in Southern New Delhi which is the south part of India. Jawaharlal Nehru University was setup in the 1969 under the act of Jawaharlal Nehru University by the parliament of India. University is named as JNU after the name of first prime minister of India. The main focus or aim of the JNU is research thus programmes offers by the University are mostly research-oriented programmes. More than 5000 students are pursuing various programmes in the University. The campus area of University is nearly 1000 acres, which is purely green and well maintained area by the University. In all over India large numbers of Institutes and schools are affiliated to the JNU. University offers different level programmes like Diploma Courses, Postgraduate Degree Courses and Research / Doctoral etc.
Jawaharlal Nehru University also offers the MBA programme which is of two years in duration. The admissions for MBA course is carried out by entrance examination in two steps.
Eligibility for MBA:
To get admission for MBA candidates must have complete bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the mathematics subject. Candidate’s needs minimum of 50 % marks under the 10+2+3 teaching pattern. The candidates who are give the final year’s examination and are waiting for the results may also apply for the admission.
Selection procedure:
Admission procedure is carried out in two steps; in the first step entrance examination is conducted and in second step includes the group task and personal interviews. Candidates must have passed the Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) or CAT for the process. The candidates who passed these exams are calls out for the GD and personal interview.
