IGNOU is a central university and is a member of The Association of Indian University (AIU). It is world’s fifth largest Open University and has played a significant role in establishment of Distance Education Council which is responsible for providing quality distance learning in India. It has a strong network of 961 study centers and is spread across India. Yearly it enroll around 13 lakh student for different courses.

The MBA course offered at IGNOU provides students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in fields like finance, retail, media, HR etc. there are total 21 courses offered under MBA. It is a 2yrs course with internship provided to students in the 2nd yr.

Eligibility for MBA Admission:

• Student need to be graduated from any recognized university with at least 50%.

• Students need to appear for entrance exam OPENMAT conducted by the university itself. Along with GDPI.

• Candidate applying any management course need to have working experience.

Application Form for MBA Admission:

The application form along with prospectus can be obtained Registrar office and all its study centers. The same can also be obtained by downloading it from website www.ignou.ac.in . Students also need to obtain OPENMAT form which is to be filled and submitted to the registrar. Students have to pay Rs 550/- through DD drawn under the favor of University.

IGNOU Distance Learning MBA Admission

IGNOU was established in the year 1985 and is continuously offering quality courses to students in UG, PG, Diploma, Master’s Degree and other Certificate courses.  Due to its continuous recognition, university has being recognized by UGC and is also the member of AIU. It has also got an approval from AICTE.  There are currently more than 1400 study centers under its distance education department, along with 58 Regional and 6 Sub-Regional centers across India.

The MBA course offer in its distance education is highly skillful and offers students a great exposure in business world.  It offers MBA in Finance, Marketing, Hospitality, HR and IT field. Its study centers are equipped with all the required facilities for MBA students.  University provides a good exposure in International Business from its courses.

Eligibility for MBA admission:

• Candidate has to complete graduation with at least 50% marks in any field from recognized university.

• Candidate has to appear for OPENMA entrance exam conducted by university twice a year. Apart from that, candidate also has to appear for GDPI.

• Candidate who is appearing for final exam can also apply for the course

Application form for MBA Admission:

The application form can be obtained from Registrar, IGNOU, and New Delhi or from any of its study centers by paying Rs 550/- in DD under the favor of IGNOU. The form can also be downloaded from www.ignou.ac.in  and submit the duly filled form to the Registrar of IGNOU.
