Banaras Hindu University is founded in holy city of Varanasi. In 1915 Banaras University is internationally prestigious temple of learning. The university is made by the act of parliamentary legislation in 1915. Banaras University is founded by Pandit Madan Mohan malviya. The university is affiliated by University Grant Commission. The university have more than 12 thousand student living in the campus of BHU. The main objective of University is to promote the study of the Hindu shastras and Sanskrit literature.

Banaras University also offers MBA programme, the detail information about the MBA course in given below. This is a post graduation course in the business administration faculty. The duration of the MBA programme is two years.

Eligibility for the admission:

For the admission in the MBA programme of the University candidate must have to complete graduation under the 10+2+3 education pattern from any recognized University in India. Candidate who completes special degrees like Engineering, Doctorate are also eligible for the admission. Minimum marks required for the admissions are 50% for the general category candidates and for the reserved category candidate’s requirements of marks is 45%. Candidates are also must have to fulfill the minimum requirement for the CAT examination.

Admission Procedure:

All the admissions for the MBA are carried out through the entrance examination. Entrance examination is conducted by the University on the national level. Candidate must have to pass this entrance examination to get the admission in the University. After the entrance examination the Personal interview and group discussion session is conducted. The candidates who pass all the procedure are gets the admission in the University.
