Thapar University is the private University. The University was established in the 1956. The founder of the University is Karam Chand Thapar who is the founder of the Thapar Group of companies. The University is located at the Patiala, Punjab. Thapar University offers various courses in graduation, post graduation and P. Hd. Level. This all courses are available in various faculties. Eligibility for MBA admission:
To get the admission in the MBA programme candidate must have to complete his graduation from any recognized University in India in any field. The minimum aggregated marks for the eligibility is 50%. Some relaxation in minimum marks is allowed for the students who belong from the reserved category. These relaxations in marks are applicable only if when valid certificates are provided by the candidates.
Admission Procedure:
The admission procedure in carried out in two steps. First step includes an entrance examination which is conducted by the University. The syllabus for the entrance examination is based on the graduation subjects. The candidates who pass the entrance examination are eligible for the next step of admission which is consists of the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Those candidates are gets the admission who pass all the steps of admission process.
