Indraprastha University is also called as “Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University” or in short its calls as the GGSIPU. IPU is located at the Delhi. Guru Gobind Singh is named as on the behalf of 10th Guru of Sikhs, Late. Guru Gobind Singh. IPU was established in 1998 under the act of Government of NCT for Delhi University. University has the affiliation with UGC that is University Grants Commission. This University was formed by the Government of Delhi for the particular reason. The reason is the highly excessive load on the Delhi University, so to reduce down this load there is a necessity of one more University thus Indraprastha University is formed.

Eligibility for MBA:

To get admission for MBA in IP University candidates must have to complete a bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% aggregated marks under the 10+2+3 teaching scheme or pattern. The candidates who are given their final year examination and are waiting for the results can also apply for the admission process. After the declaration of result they must have to submit their original mark sheet of result in the University within 1 week.

Selection procedure:

The admission procedure for the MBA admissions is carried out in two steps. The first stage of admission is the entrance examination which is conducted by the University. And second step contains the Group discussion and personal interview session. To get the admission in the MBA programmed candidate must have to posses those two stages of admission.
