Sikkim Manipal University’s Distance Education (SMU-DE) offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) for students from across India through its 700 learning centers spread across India.  Established in 1995 Sikkim Manipal University is a prestigious university offering great education for students in various fields. It is the first government and private initiative and is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) and approved by Government of India. 

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a merged program which offers advanced curriculum in management course.  There are four semesters where every semester provides specialized program in management field.  It offers MBA in Retail Management, Finance, Marketing, HR, E executive MBA, IS and Baking.

Eligibility for MBA admission:

• Students must complete3 yrs graduation from any recognized university. Students while taking up the course should take up 6 subjects in first 2 semesters. In 3rd and 4th semester students should take up 2 compulsory papers and 4 papers of the specialization in particular subject that is taken by students.

• If a student has completed 3yrs PGDBA from college then it should AICTE recognized.

• Student has to appear for entrance exam and GDPI process held by university

Fee Structure:

The fees for the MBA course in SMU-DE are Rs 12,500/- per semester this fees is revised every year.

Application procedure for MBA admission:

The application form can be obtained from selected SMU study centers or else can download from http://www.admissions.smude.edu.in . Candidate obtaining the form has to pay certain amount through DD drawn under the favor of SMU, DE, Udupi.  The duly filled application form should be sent to your nearest learning centre.
