MSU was founded in the year 1990, under the TN Govt Act and is the most respected university in TN.  It provides education for students from across TN and other state by its distance education centers. University is being recognized by UGC and many colleges in TN are being affiliated to this university.  There are various study centers across TN which offers all the courses in Agriculture, Management, and Technology etc.

The MBA course offered by the distance education centers is very helpful for students, especially working professionals. It offers MBA in field of Marketing, Finance, HR, IT and other fields. All the distance education courses are being approved by DEC.

Eligibility for MBA admission:

· The eligibility criteria remain the same as other universities. As candidate should be graduated with at least 50% marks from recognized university.

· Students applying from executive MBA course should have work experience in particular field.

· Students appearing for final exam can also apply for the course.

· Students need to appear for the basic eligibility process like entrance exam TANCET and GDPI to be in the merit list.

Admission procedure:

The application form can be obtained from the university campus or from its various centers in TN. Candidate can also obtain the form from post by paying DD of specific amount mentioned in the website.  Candidate can get the same form from its study centers by paying the amount. The filled admission form can be sent to the university before the schedule date.
