Kurukhestra University was formed in 1956. The founder of University is Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who was the first president of India. The University is locates at the Kurukshetra, Haryana. This city is also known as the Holy city in India. The campus of University is situated on the bank of Brahm Sarover. University has nearly 400 acres of campus area. The mission of University is to prepare the class of professionals with good human values. University offers various programmes in different faculties. It also offers MBA programme under the School of Management and P.G. Regional Centre.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate must have to complete three year’s bachelor’s degree from any recognized institute in India with minimum of 50% of aggregated marks. 45% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates. The candidates who give the final year examination and are waiting for their results may also apply.

Project Work:

Students are necessary to complete their own project work in the course to increase or enhance the knowledge in their related subjects. Project work is done under the supervision Universities faculty and teachers.

Qualifying Criteria:

The selection of candidates is totally based on the Entrance Examination score. Following examinations are valid for the admissions, CAT, XAT, MAT, IBSAT, and GMRT. Particular student’s awards in sports, cultures are also considered while giving the admission.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates is done in two steps. First step is the entrance examination and second step is the Group discussion and Personal Interview. The candidates who crack the entrance exam are calls for the second test and by the performance of individual admissions are allotted.
