About the Institute
The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) is located in Bhopal. The institute is well known for the courses related to the Forest Management. The campus area of the institute is 200 acres and institute has a record of 100% placement through the campus. Institute offers the course of Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management (PGDFM), which is a degree course and can be done after the completion of graduation. The duration of the course is two years and it’s a post graduate course. The course is approved by AICTE and AIU.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant requires three years bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregated of 50% marks. Reserved category candidates required 45% aggregated marks. The student who gives the exam of final year bachelor’s degree and are waiting for results may also apply for the course.
Selection of Candidates
The candidates are selected by two step procedure. In the first step candidates need to appear for the CAT examination which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management. By using of CAT score candidates are shortlisted for the second step which includes the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. This process is carried out in the institute in Bhopal. Project work
Each student is required to submit a project report based on their topic, project work is done the supervision of faculty and teachers and submit their project before the submission dates. Internal assessments of the marks are totally depending on the project work.
