BIT Mesra was formed in the year of 1955 by Mr. B M Birla as a technical and deemed Institute. The full name of the BIT is Birla Institute of technology. The institute is located at the Mesra, Ranchi, India. Institute has very large campus at Ranchi; the area of campus is around 780 acres. Institute offers various courses at under graduate, post graduate level and Doctoral level. BIT also has various centers in different cities of India. Till now, more than 18,000 degrees have been awarded in the graduate stream and around 2500 degrees are offered in post graduation. BIT has also been accredited by NAAC and NBA. Institute also has several other international ventures. 

BIT offers five years full time integrated MBA course. Detail information for the course is given below.

Eligibility criteria for the MBA:

To get admission in the five years MBA programme candidate must have to pass 10th standard examination with minimum of 60% marks for open category students and 50% for reserved (SC/ST) category. The student who pass 12th examination are also eligible for the admission, but they need to secure 60% marks with four main and basic subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. The only candidates with age below 21 years are eligible for the admission in the Institute.

Application Procedure:

Admissions in the Institute are provided on the base of the merit list which is obtained from the 10th and 12th class marks. If selected candidates full fill the other minimum requirements like age limit and other then they are selected for the course. After the selection candidates are called out for the counseling which is held at the various centers.

Pune University was established in the year 1949 and is the prestigious university providing quality education in various streams.  Right from the university location to the syllabus provided is excellent in its own way.  There are provisions for hostels for students coming from other state.  University offers UG, PG, Doctorate, diploma course, advance diploma course in foreign languages.  University also offers various management level courses that can help students to have choice to opt for. • Candidate seeking admission for Executive MBA should have 3-4 working experience.

IGNOU invites applications to following degree and diploma programs in the management:

Eligibility : 

Graduation in any discipline having 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category OR Bachelor’s degree having three years of managerial, supervisory or professional experience OR any professional degree in technology, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, architecture, or law or professional degree in accountancy, company secretary etc OR Master degree with any subject

Admissions : 

Admission to MBA, PGDIM, DM, and Post Graduate Diplomas in FM, HRM, MM, and OM will be given on basis of score got in OPENMAT, organized twice a year. The candidates, successfully cleared entrance test for the admission for Management Program organized by the institutions like MAT, CAT, or the State level tests do not require appearing in the OPENMAT.

Cut off percentage to admission for candidates will be resolute by IGNOU. Non-graduates having six years of supervisory, managerial, or professional experience are suitable for taking the admission to diploma in the management after clearing entrance test. No age limit is given for the programs however, IGNOU reserves right deny admission of any candidate.

Filled in application form for the entrance test OPENMAT must reach at the registrar (SED), IGNOU, New Delhi- 110068 through registered post or speed post before the last date.

Student Handbook & Prospectus : 

Student Handbook and Prospectus can be received from Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 or, from all IGNOU regional centers, by sending Rs 550/- via Demand Draft or IPO, favoring IGNOU, to be paid at New Delhi or city of associated regional centre or through paying Rs 550/- cash at respective sale counters. The applicant needs to write his/her name & address on backside of Demand Draft or IPO.
