The VIT University is best known for its excellence in the field of technology. The University also runs the VIT Business School well known for its education for management education. The VIT Business School emphasis on both theoretical and practical education of the students as the school is aware about the requirements of the organizations in which the students will be working.   

ADMISSION PROCESS

The can obtain the information brochure from the university campus or the campus in Chennai by handing a demand draft of Rs.900/- in the name of VIT University. The brochure can also be obtained by posting a demand draft of Rs.900/- to the admissions office of the VIT University.

The candidates short listed by the university will be selected on the basis of a group discussion and a personal interview.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate willing to apply for the program should be a Resident of India and should have graduation degree from University located in India.
A candidate must have secured 60% in the full time Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates who will be appearing for the final year to be held in May 2010 are also eligible for the admission process.
The Bachelor’s degree must consist of three years of education along with secondary schooling. The XAT/CAT score will also be taken into consideration.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS ON ADMISSION`

Documents which are to be submitted at the time of admission by the students at the time of admissions are:
•    Photocopy of X and XII mark sheet.
•    Mark sheet of the Bachelor’s degree (all semesters).
•    Provisional certificate or the qualifying degree if received by the candidate.
•    Transfer certificate by the last institute studied in.
•    XAT/CAT scorecard.
•    Certificate for the proof of reserved category.
•    4 passport sized photographs.

Sikkim Manipal University MBA Admission Process/Criteria

The Sikkim Manipal University offer MBA in Marketing, Systems, Human Resource Development and Finance. The university’s priority is on the enhancement of an all round administrative outlook. The students can opt for any of the two out of the above specified specialization. Training and Development programs are also conducted regularly by the board.

The program is a two year course which leads to the achievement on an MBA degree. The program provides specialization in dual aspects. A student can choose any of the three specializations along with marketing.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate applying must be a Graduate bachelor’s and engineer’s degree holder in the 10+2+3 criteria and must have secured a minimum of 50%marks at graduation level. 5% relaxation is also offered to the ST/SC and OBC candidates. The students will be chosen on the basis of the grades achieved in the Management Aptitude Test. The candidates will further be chosen on the performance in Group Discussions and Personal Interview conducted by the university.

Accommodation

The institute provides accommodation facilities with separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms of the hostel are well furnished; two seated and have an attached bathroom. The institute also has a student mess and canteen. The facility of gym and recreation rooms is also available

The students are also provided with a well equipped library with all the books required by the students.
The institute also has an internet café for the students and the area of the institute is provided with wi-fi connectivity

Admission Procedure

OPTION 2

The prospectus can also be acquired from Sikkim Manipal University office by posting a request enclosed with a demand draft of Rs. 500 drawn in the favor of Sikkim Manipal University.

The BITS Pilani provides one and a half year of course work concentrating on the academic environment for the students. The course provides exposure to the industries and management by live projects and placements.

The syllabus is based upon to replicate the thinking according to the latest management education provided to the students consisting of global awareness, value based components and experimental learning.

The Masters program offered at the BITS Pilani campus are :

MBA in engineering and technology and;
MBA in IT Enabled Service Management

Eligibility for Admissions:
 
The candidate must have an integrated degree of BITS or B.Tech in he field of engineering from any recognized university. The student should have secured 60% of aggregate marks to be eligible for the admission.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

The students will be notified regarding the information brochure with an advertisement for the academic year 2010-2011 by the end week of April 2010.

The student willing for the admission has to appear in the online test conducted by the university. The students will be then selected on the basis of the ranks or the marks scored for the Group discussions at the university campus.
